I received your contact information through the LSU Alumni Association. My name is Josh Weiner and I am the Senior Event Manager for a large scale event planning organization, Lindy Promotions, Inc.

On December 31st, we will be hosting our annual “Downtown Countdown” New Year’s Eve party at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta; it’s just a few blocks from the Georgia Dome and in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.

The Downtown Countdown is an extravagant, all-inclusive party that features open bars, food buffets, and wide array of entertainment including multiple bands, DJ’s, and comedians. This party is the perfect way to ring in the new year, and celebrate a LSU victory in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

Each year we sell special discounted tickets specifically for fans attending the bowl game. The only difference from a regular ticket is that your entry time starts at 11pm (right about when the bowl game will be ending).

Purchasing a ticket also allows you the ability to reserve rooms at the Hyatt Regency for a substantially reduced price of $165/night. A ticket to the party, plus a nights hotel stay would only be $240 ($75 + $165). This is still considerably cheaper than a nights stay anywhere else I’ve been able to find downtown, and you get access to the biggest New Years party in Atlanta.

I was looking to find out the best ways to be able to alert the many LSU Alumni in your group that may be making the trip for the game. Any help that you would be able to provide is greatly appreciated.
